What is a FindMe label for? During a structure fire, often smoke is heavy, becoming an impediment to first responder efforts to locate those with special need of help, like children, the elderly or infirm, and pets also! FindMe Labels communicate information to first responders:
- The presence of children, pets, and others with needs
- The room location label is placed on the inner door guiding help to proper locations.
- Pet names help responders call out, drawing pet out of terrified hiding
- Helps responders have an informed sense of household occupants
Can Save Search Safety Label products be affixed to any surface? Yes, doors of any material, windows and walls. The label is an adhesive, but we also provide glue-dots that allow easy removal. Double stick wall tape (not provided) is also approved.
How many sets can be ordered? Either a single set, or multiples as you desire
Can I customize my label? Yes, certain products can be customized with a person or pet's name. For pets especially, customizing the FindMe label with your pet's name helps first responders to locate a frightened pet by calling their name out. Customization also is a great way to involve your child in an educational setting, creating a culture of learning from an early age. Involvement is simple, ask your child to enter the personalized name or information when ordering, and they are now participants in the safety process!
Can I customize the label size? In many cases we can accommodate a custom size based on your specific application. Simply inquire on our contact page. Either identify the product number and provide the desired size, or place your order in the information section.
Are the labels in color? Yes, the printed label colors are close to the colors on the screen.
Am I able to order for a third party and have shipped separately? Yes simply fill out the additional party's shipping information
How does the label adhere to my flat surface? The label has a liner that is peeled to expose a typical adhesive which stick to most clean dry surfaces.
Will weather elements affect the label surface? The product is durable and weather resistant. Depending on the surface condition it will last a long time.
Where do I place the safety label? The FirstResponder label is visible to first responders, place in the lower corner of the front door to the building or outer apartment door.

Are the labels returnable? Returns are excepted up to 60 days from date of purchase. Simply email Harry with order number and purchase details at savesearchsafety@gmail.comto let us know you are returning via US Postal Service. Upon receipt we will issue a full refund.
Are the labels fireproof? The labels are subject to degradation due to fire in intense heat. Moderate heat and intense smoke will not affect product performance.
